Bands and Music

Oh, the glamour of mySpace. We cannot contest that mySpace is a fantastic, and free(!) tool that meets the needs of most bands perfectly. However, for a more professional approach, or to be able to pitch your music/services to events or promoters that are likely to need more than mySpace to be impressed, we can provide and host a very clean, professional website at minimal cost.

Our websites are particulally suited for professional acts such as wedding bands, or cabaret acts, but can just as easily be produced for your classic rock, jazz or punk bands, and even pop groups or choirs. If you have an identity you can have a website!

Functionality available includes streaming media, organised photo albums, news letters and gig listings. Our more complex website setups can include an adminstration system which allows the band members/managers to dynamically manage the content of the web site, such as gig listings, and news articles simply by "logging in" to the website.

Case Study: Los Conios

Los Conios are a "musical experience" from Bristol, UK. Their mixture of bizarre music, bizarre art, and extreme performances cried out for much more than just an online profile page. At the front end, the website offers 6 basic information pages, with deeper links to a total of more than 26 pages, including 16 photo albums of their performances. The site hosts streamed MP3s of their music, with theft protection about as good as you can manage online, also with embedded streamed videos. The band run a small magazine too, with its own section and coverage all part of the band's website. The interactive menu system is very unique to the site and provides a solid navigation mechanism.

The Los Conios website also comes with an administration package. Members of the band can log in and add gig dates and descriptions, post new news articles and manage the photos and other standard media on the website. This means once your site is set up, you can keep the content truely up to date and accurate, without having to pay your web developer for such privalleges. An up-to-date, informative website will make all the difference to promoters who may wish to book you in.
